My name is Victoria Hunt, and I'm a photographer located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I've done it all: weddings, couples, maternity, children, and seniors. In 2016, my main focus shifted toward fashion. My style has evolved a whole lot over the years, but what I always go back to are darker images. I like rich colors with fantasy, moody, or alternative elements. Most of my recent work features Verillas and Ayyawear clothing. I began working with them in September of 2015, and it allowed my photography to grow in ways I didn't know were possible.

I have always held an interest in cameras. Ever since I was young, I always wanted to be the one taking family photos. When I was given a little point and shoot in 2008, I fell in love with macro photography, and began posting emotive work on DeviantArt. A year later, I was given a Nikon. I wanted to take photos of people, but I didn't really know how to get started. In 2010, a friend of a friend was looking for a budget photographer for her wedding, and I was volunteered for it. From then on, I started setting up stylized shoots and I fell in love with the world of fashion and portrait photography.

Other skills & hobbies

I began dabbling in web and graphic design around the same time in 2008. It took up a big chunk of my life; I was reading books, designing and learning all I could. When I would start a project, I would work nonstop for days. Lately, I don't have much time for it unless it's directly related to my photography pages. I'm also a writer, and I tend to start books and not finish them. One of my goals is to be able to keep an active blog to dump my photos and experiences into.
